AP The wheat market rallied about a cent a bushel to day on the strength of moderate buying attributed to rernova of hedges by ex porters and some profit taking by pre vious sellers. Trade specialists said a break of around 25 cent a bushel in wheat since the season's high level was reached last month has eliminated many weak hold ers who have taken losses, thereby strengthening the technical position of the market. Private advices Indicated the Canadian export sales overnight were better than expected. Wheat closed S-l cent higher compar ed with yesterday's finish. The Dalles, Dillard, Wapato, Yakima and even local points are contributing but prices are showing only very slight recession. Because It is difficult today to secure well matured Yakima potatoes that will fill the Oregon grade, operators are look ing more than ever to the local pro duct. Prices are steady. Even though killers as a rule are still quoting the extreme low point to the country for light hens, they are as a rule securing local places for their actual needs. Theatres Q. EL J.
