Silver Jubilee, State Meeting Of Catholic Daughters Is Event Of Coming Week-End In Eugene THE Eugene Catholic Daughters of America will be hoatesaea to the visiting delegatea of Catholic Daugh ters of the stste on Saturday and Sun day, October 27 and 28, at the annual state conference which will be held In thla city. The various courts of Oregon will be represented at the week-end meetings. Mis Anns Dunn, state regent, Portland, will preside over the sesalons. In connection with the snnusl state conference meeting the local Catholic Daughters of America will commenv orate their silver jubilee. In 1000 the local court of Eugene waa founded, as the first Catholic Daughters on the Pacific coast. McMorran and Wash burne's will have a complete window display of Girl Scout equipment and accessories during the week and radio programa will be given through the courteay of KORE. Saturday, Oc tober .7, is all-county play-day on the univeraity campus, with Mlas Betty Alien in charge, assisted by the lieutenants' troop. Games, contests and swimming are on the program. Every Girl Scout In Eugene and the aurrounding communities is invited to attend this play-day from two until five oclock in the afternoon. Ten cents will be charged for swimming.
