(Special) Captain Jay Sultzman of Eugene and Sergeant Walter Lansing of the state traffic force will speak at the meeting of the Creswell grange Fri day evening on the subject of safety in traffic. A croun of neonle from the Chris tian church of Drain, gave a very de lightful entertainment in the Yon calln gymnasium Monday evening. The stnge represented a cotton field on a southern plantation, where negro men, women and children all worked together. When the white plan tation owner was in sight lots of work was done but in his absence, jokes were told and songs sung. Bond is visitine at the home of his son, S. C. Bond and wife. Mr. Bond Tvas formerly of Bandon. but has recently disposed of his property and has retired from business. He is now on his way to visit at his old home at Fort Worth, Texas. Mrs. Bond who is visiting at Los Angeles will join him there and make the trip to Texas visiting at several points on the way. She will spend the week end with friends in Seattle. Yoncalla Orchestra Presents Concert YONCALLA, May 21. (Special). The Yoncalla orchestra, under the di rection of Lee Kennedy of Roseburg gave a concert in the Methodist church Friday evening.
