The baby's grandparents are Mrs. Ruth Crowder and Mrs. Ella Finley Heisler of Salem. The little girl weighed six pounds and her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. II. G. Maison of Salem and Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Lowery of Greenville Miss. Lt. Lowery, who was here in early December, is now in the south Pacific on a six mouths tour of duty with the naval submarine service. Hamate Have a Girl -j News has come from San Francisco telling of the birth of a daughter, Judith Gail, on De cember 28 to Dr. and Mrs. John Ramage, formef 'Salem1 residents. The little girl, who weighed sev en pounds and fifteen ounces, has a brother, Bruce, and sister, Linda. . Mrs. L. M. Ramage, the boby'i paternal grandmother, went couth to be with her new grand daughter. , The Ramages have been living in the bay city while Dr. Ramage has served as a sur geon with the U. S. public health service. He expects to be re leased in the near future and the family will return to Salem to reside. Kings Will Be Hosts Dr. and Mrs. A. The couple will reside near Albany. . . f Miss FUetcher to Marry Sunday SILVERTON Miss Beryl Eu nice Fletcher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Fletcher, and Mr. Hans C. Hagedorn, jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans C. Hagedorn, all of Silverton, will be married at the First Methodist church here at a candlelight ceremony Sunday at 7 p.m. Rev. O. Leonard Jones will read the ceremony before the sanctuary decorated with white and pink snapdragons, white chrysanthemums and greenery. Miss Mary Alfred will play the wedding music and accom pany Miss Uarbara Gossett, of Portland, who will sing "Be tauKe" and "At Dawning." Miss Gossett will accompany Miss Al fred and Miss Faith Fletcher when they sing "O Promise Me." The bride, to be given in mar riage by her father, will wear a floor-length white eatin gown with a fitted bodice and an ov er kirt and train of tulle. Her tulle fingertip veil will be held in place by a seed pearl tiara. She will carry white carnations and bouvaidia. Miss Phyllis Fletcher will be her sister's only attendant, and will wear pale pink satin and tulle with an arm bouquet of deeper pink carnations. Mr. Harry Hagedorn will j be best man for his brother, and Ray mond Hanson and Stanley Hale have been asked to usher. Following the ceremony, a re ception will be-held in the social room of the church. Receiving Vvlth, the bridal party will be Sir. and Mrs. Fletcher and Mr. and Mrs. Hagedorn. Reeher, entrained Friday for Kansas City.j Missouri, to attend Mid western Schools Inc., for three months. Maulding to En sign Robert D. Oeder was re vealed. As individual cakes, de corated with the navy motif were served for dessert, the sorority, sisters of Miss Maulding found cards with the inscription "Soil ing Together" and the names of the engaged couple. Miss Maulding, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Maulding of Silverton, is a sophomore at the university. Ensign Oeder is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Oeder of Salem, at one time of Silver ton. He previously attended Willamette university where he was affiliated with Alpha Pid Delta fraternity.
