Truman's version of the tongue lashing; he gave a top Soviet dip. lomat was told Wednesday .night in personal account of his first 18 days In the presidency. When Foreign Minister Y. M. Molotov protested his . sharp lan guage, Truman said he informed the Communist leader: "Carry out your agreements and you won t get talked to like that." Life magazine published the first Installment of Truman's memoirs in its current issue. It includes a teport on the former Resident's face-to-face meeting with Molotov at the White House April 23. 1945. Life will publish the first volume of the memoirs in five instalments and The New York Times and St. Louis Post-Dispatch also will ser ialize them. . . ' J Missing from Truman's account of the White Bouse talk with Molo tov is the exact language used by the usually blunt speaking Mis souriaa. . Jonathan Daniels, in his "Man of Independence", said one ' of those present described it as "blunt language unadorned by the polite verbiage of diplomacy.' Gas Hearing Nears Close French Oust Aging Sultan PARIS , UTr Premier Edgar Faure Tuesday won a free hand from his own cabinet to replace the sultan of Morocco with a three- man regency and start a French Moroccan reform aimed at peace in the' strife-torn protectorate. ' The ministers, in effect, wrote the sultan's walking papers. All eyes turned to Rabat to see if and when aging Mohammed Ben Mou lajr Arafa wjll walk.
