Molotov protested his . sharp lan
guage, Truman said he informed
the Communist leader:
"Carry out your agreements and
you won t get talked to like that."
Life magazine published the first
Installment of Truman's memoirs
in its current issue. It includes a
teport on the former Resident's
face-to-face meeting with Molotov
at the White House April 23. 1945.

The first volume comes out in
book form (Doubleday t Co. J" in
early November. Another volume
will follow in January. Truman
reportedly is getting about $600,000,
spread over a period of years for
