A rise of $1.10 was scored by the Associated Press average of 60 stocks at $163.50. All three compo nents were up industrials $1.70, railroads 70 cents, and utilities 50 cents. There were 1,183 individual is sues traded. Gainers numbered 626 while there were 321 losers.
