Sequin spangled 1 Venice lace embellished the scoop neck line, the cuffs of the long sleeves and the back peplura. A lace pill box cap adorned j with1 ' sequins held in place her double finger tip illusion veiL She carried a spray bouquet of ; Better Times red roses and green leather fern. Briday' Attendants i 1 j Miss DeAnne Palmer was her sister's honor maid and the bridesmaids were Miss Beverly Roberts, Mrs. Ted Highberger, Miss Carole Frank; and Mrs. Roy Christiansen. They ! all wore iden tical waltz length frocks of rasp berry red crystalette fashioned with boat necklines, Empire waistlines banded in matching velveteen and bouffant skirts. Aebi, son of Alvin Aebi. The Rev. Robert F. Pen ner officiated. ' ' Dr. Norman Classen of Dal las was the soloist . and Mrs. Classen was organist The bride wore a floor length gown with a chapel length train of white . lace and ' tulle.' The lace bodice was made with a low round neck and the full skirt was of lace over tulle. Her fingertip veil was caught to a crown of white pearls. She carried a white orchid and bouvardia. The bride's attendants alter nately wore identically made bal lerina dresses in lavender taffe ta with purple velvet trim and purple crystalette taffeta with lavender velvet trim and linen shoes to- match the trim. Their headpieces were velvet ribbons caught with chrysanthemums. . Mrs. Don Rich of Portland, wearing purple, was maid of hon or and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Thomas A. Lacey Jr. -in lavender, Donna Hevner, sister I of. the bride, in lavender, and Mrs. Lar ry ! Hevner in! purple. Junior bridesmaids 1 were Joan Aebi, cousin of the groom,' and Dari Sue Hevner, sister of the bride, both in lavender. McCallan in Dallas and the groom is in the heavy hauling business. Two Sabrejets Crasli, 1 Killed NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y., (UP) One Air Force jet pilot was killed and another' parachuted to safety Friday night when'their Sabrejet fighter planes crashed in separate mishaps during a practice mission The dead pilot was Maj. William M. Coleman, 36, a native of Ft Lauderdale, Fla., who has been living with his wife and two chil dren near here. His plane crashed in flames in a field two miles 60uth of Wilson. I want some evergreens don't see how the coast can be without them but the great big Italian Cypress that we had at our Portland home seems too big for our smaller ranch type house which we have built at Salem. The coloring is good and it has berries on it when it reaches three or four years. There are a number of dwarf evergreens now. The smaller houses have brought a real development which I do not think we can call a fad along this line. One of our Salem nurseries has rather specialized in dwarf ever greens and has. a lovely line. Most of the ji nurseries in the Willam ette Valley! area carry some dwarfs. i 1 Question I want te plant only pink and white flowering shrubs. I have quite a bit of space and I plan to have a gardener plant the tilings- when 1 get them. But I don't know what kind of shrubs to plant. -I want a tall one like the buddleia in the .background, only I don't want the purple color that they have. W.B. Answer Yes, there are some garden supply stores and some greenhouses. I have been able to get it a couple of places.
