Annual Dinner on Thanksgiving of the Church Miss Joyce Wright is Bride Of John j Prince on Saturday Miss Joyce Arlene Wright became John Robert Prince's bride at a beautiful wedding ceremony Saturday night at the First Church of the Nazarene. The bride is. the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Wright and the bridegroom : is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Prince. . . It was at 8 o'clock that the Rev. William F. Clay officiated at the: nuptials before a setting of i chrysanthemums in the bronze, gold and white shades. The Rev. Milo C, Ross, cousin of the groom; as listed at the ceremony. Clark Hauser was the soloist and Dave Louthan the organist Lighting the tapers were Misses Helen Melbey, Marilyn Bibleheimcr, Lo raine Hamilton and Mary Early wine, the latter two cousins of the bride. They alt wore gold ir ridescent taffeta frocks. For her ' wedding the bride chose a gown cf. white satin, fash ioned with a Chantilly lace bodice and long sleeves. The skirt was enhanced with tiers of lace) ex tending from the waistline in back to the full, court train. Her fingertip illusion veil was caught to a crown of Mother of Pearls and sequins. Her only ornament was a diamond clipped cultured pearl necklace, a: gift ' of the groom. She carried a white Bi ble marked with a purple throat ed orchid. I I Precede the Bride ' j ; Miss JoAnn Blunt was the honor maid and she wore a deep wine iridescent taffeta frock and carried a wedding ring bouquet of maroon and white chrysanthe mums. The bridesmaids. Miss Shirley Kight and 1 Miss Patricia Earlywine, wore rose iridescent taffeta frocks and carried wed-, dings rings of blue and yellow chrysanthemums, and Miss Marj orie Clay and Mrs. Lou Williams, the groom's sister, wore aqua iridescent taffeta frocks and their wedding rings were of yellow and bronze chrysanthemums. The dresses were styled with full, floor length skirts 'and fitted bo dices with low necklines. - j . I Rosemary Hauser and Sharon Gwynn were flower girls and rose ; dotted nylon i they wore frocks. i I S - Walter Johnson: of Nampa, Idaho, stood with Ir. Prince as best man. Groomsmen were Ken neth Prince, the groom's broth er,' Wayne Bauder of Nampa, Lyman Sundfall and Lelandi Ed wards. Ushers were George Rick ard, Dale Thomas, Don White and Robert Beverly. Reception Follows Nuptials Mrs. Wright selected a gown of aqua with corsage of pink roses. Mrs. Prince! attended her son's marriage in an avocado green dress with bronze rosebud corsage. " ' ; - $ .'. . j . The newlyweds f greeted their guests af a reception in 1 the church annex. Pouring were Mrs. Jesse Earlywine, the bride's aunt, and Mrs. Kenneth Prince, the groom's sister-in-law. Mrs. , Clarence Lattin, cousin of the Members and friends West Salem Methodist are planning a hospitable occa sion to be held in the church dining room on Thanksgiving Day at 1:30 p. m. This will be the third annual no-host Thanks giving dinner which anyone may share by contributing food or money. : Newcomers are especially In vited as well as old time resi dents who wish to enjoy this fel lowship. Mrs. Mary Thomas of Roberts Bros, was the speaker and told the bask fundamentals of interior decorating- ,fi'i:. j. v;' Committees were named for the semi-formal dance to be held Dec. 11 at the American Legion Cub with the Gamma Gamma chapter. During the evening the members worked on felt Christmas stock ings and the proceeds from the sales will go to the Crippled Cnil dren's Hospital in Eugene. Earl Cook, co-chairmen for the annual bazaar of the Women's Association of the First Presby terian Church, are announcing their ' committee chairmen. The bazaar will be held on Friday, December 3 at the church, Chemeketa and Winter Streets, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mrs. S. Bliss Leslie is chairman of the morning coffee hour. Cof fee and doughnuts will be served from 9:30 to 11:30 a. nr. to all visi tors to the bazaar. Mrs. Emmett Kleinke is chairman of the lunch eon, which will ; be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets for the luncheon may be obtain ed from the church office.
