The Associated Press average of 60 stocks gained 90 cents and closed at $114.90. The sain is the best since last Nov. 24. The in dustrial component of the average gained SL10, railroads gained 90 cents, and utilities gained 29 cents. There were 650 gainers in the list of 141 individual issues ap pearing on the tape and 233 losers.
