Salem School Enrollment Still Increasing Registration In ' Salem schools continued upward this year, accord ins to a tabulation- Tuesday by the school administration which placed the count at 8,637 as compared to 8.138 for last year at the end of the first six weeks. , ' This rise was a result of the con solidation laxt January of some rural schools with the Salem sys ; tern. ' - . -rV' - The total count thows an in crease of about 60 students in the Salem schools since Sept 15. This Is a normal rise, according to the school administration office. Totals for the elementary schools are: Auburn, 113; Baker, 96; Bush, 554; Englewood, 491; Garfield, 162; Grant, 203; Hayesville, 101; High land, 375; Hoover, 202; Liberty, 182; Lincoln, Four Corners, 192; Lincoln, Polk County, 22.
