Kremlin Alters Cominform. Slavs Contend By MILTOK MAKMOR LONDON UP Moscow is quietly liquidating the Coranform, the liquidating the Com nform, - the organ Borba said Sunday. . A Rpltrarte I radio renort ' added. however, thai "Moscow has not renounced the, aims for (which the Cominform was designed, but Is only changing the form of its ag gressive design. The Cominform. successor to the Comintern as the international Communist ! organization, was founded in Poland in April, 1947, and established at Belgrade on Oct 5, 1947. It moved to Bucharest, Romania, after Premier Marshal Tito was read out as a Communist heretic in June the following year, The original i members of Comin form, which is an abbreviation for Communist Information Bureau, Russia, France, Italy, Czechoslo vakia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia and Hungary. . - Borba' s article said Moscow in tends to have the Cominform dis appear quietly from the world scene without attracting the notice of the public. It claimed that one of the main' reasons for the disin tegration of the organization was "the complete failure of its activt ly against Yugoslavia." The paper charged that in four of Corninform's five years of life, the organization has sought un successfully to liquidate Yugosla via under Tito. It did this, Borba continued, by instigating 4,575 bor der incidents, killing and wounding 50 Yugoslav! citizens and sending hundreds of "diversionists and spies" into Yugoslavia. Borba characterized the Comin form as a Vmere instrument of Russian imperialism, which in the enslavement of Eastern European countries has obediently fulfilled its role of assistant." One of the principal functions of the Cominform in Bucharest has been the publication of a weekly organ called "For A Lasting Peace, For i a People's Democra cy." .
