Much building is going on in the Oakdale addition on the Jefferson-Talbot road, opened in the past vear by Frank Weddle. Two houses from Camp Adair were brought in Tuesdav. shipped down the river from Albany on a barge and un loaded at the Buena Vista ferry slip. It was pointed out that this would mean no raise in taxes for any taxpayer but is merely direct ing the park boarfl to use, or not to use, that amount of money for the lighting project. The Woodburn School Board has agreed to use the field for at least a five-year period on a ren tal basis providing lights are in stalled. The amount of rental would be worked out between the school board and the city, owners of the ball park. Class Play Tonight WOODBURN The senior class of Woodburn High School will present the comedy, Life With Father," at the high school gym nasium Friday at 8 p. m. Practice has been under way for several months under the direction of Mrs. Helen Jones. Jack Moss plays the leading male role of "father" with Loretta Wilson having the female lead as "Vinnv", the mother.
