George Aiken has had as her bouse guests this week her daugh ter and grandsons, Mrs, Cordon Wright, Eric, Michael and Greg ory, who have been on the east coast and In Europe lor the past year . . They are leaving today to return to their home in Eugene, where Dr. Wright is acting head of the history department at the University of Oregon i . . Dr. Wright has been engaged in re search work at the Princeton In stitute and while in Europe made his headquarters in Paris ... The family enjoyed several interesting tours of the continent and Eng land while abroad ... They re turned to Oregon last Saturday and Dr. Wright went on to Eu ffene for the ooeninz of the uni versity, while his family remained In Salem for. a visit ... Expected ome . . . today is Sezanne liar tins, daarhter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles liar sins, vh has been in Cheyenne, Wyoming, since eartr last Aug ust taking her training as & United Airlines stewardess . . . She received her wins at a ceremony in Denver en Monday and Is flying home for a two weeks vacation .... Her new assignment will be Los Angeles and three of her classmates will also be stationed in the south ern California city ... Suzanne graduated from the University of Oregon la June ... A trip ... to Pullman, Wash ington for Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Paxson, who were .accompanied by their granddaughter, Sharon Coons, who remained in Salem for several weeks , after her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Budd Coons, re turned to Pullman . . . Budd is attending the Washington State College Veterinary school ... En route home the Paxsons traveled by way of southern Idaho and eastern Oregon . . . . WEEKEND JOTTINGS . The Oregon-Stanford grid classic in Portland Saturday will attract a number of Salem fans . . . Among those attending the first "big game1 of the season at Multnomah Stadium will be Mr. and Mrs, James C.
