His fruit trucking business did not provide enough source of rev enue so he started a run over the famed Alcan highway to Alaska with big refrigerated 10-ton truck, bringing back salmon after selling his fruit load. Martin says the amount of traf fic on .the Alcan highway is be gining to increase with more tourists venturing out on the route. The road has some steep grades. The university's engineering re- search department made the an nouncement but Insisted the school's scientists-were not trying to steal a 'inarch from the army Just trying to assist.
