Martin, 35-year-old' Greeley
trucker, is an outstanding ex
ample of American initiative.
His fruit trucking business did
not provide enough source of rev
enue so he started a run over the
famed Alcan highway to Alaska
with big refrigerated 10-ton
truck, bringing back salmon after
selling his fruit load.
Martin says the amount of traf
fic on .the Alcan highway is be
gining to increase with more
tourists venturing out on the
route.
The road has some steep grades.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -(INS)-The
University of Michigan went
into the rocket firing business la

nouncement but Insisted the
school's scientists-were not trying

crease the field of study to 100
miles above the earth's surface.
