Nov., 10-MVThe state fair employment practices commission decided today to look into a Salem Incident involving two negroes and police there. Chairman David Robinson said the investigation would seek to learn whether the new FEP law was violated. Hesaid one of th negroes ihas sworn to an affi davit saying an officer told him We don't allow negroes in Sa lem." Robinson, said the negro was a potato harvest worker wait ing to be paid in Salem. "The FEP commission is con cerned about any case where it appears members of a racial mi nority are not able to enjoy the protection of the FEP law because of a local policy forbidding them J to remain in any certain locality, Robinson explained.
