'--1 i H Spinsters Mako Plans for Benefit..; On the calendar for Friday afternoon. November 4 is the dessert bridge benefit for which the Spinsters will be hostesses at the American Legion club at 1 o'clock. Proceeds from the affair will be used to carry on the philanthropic work of the organization. ! , - - - f. - i ' Miss Margaret Lovell is general' chairman of the directorate and has announced the fol lowing committees; Miss Patricia Larson and Miss Patricia Viesko, prizes; Mrs. P. ' j A Surprise Dinner Party J Robert White was honored on his birthday at a surprise no-host dinner party which his wife arranged for Saturday night at the Am erican Legion club. Later the group attended the Waverly club dance at the Marion hotel. It Covers were placed for Mr. and Mrs. White, Mr. and Mrs. James Minty, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Randall, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Fravef Mr. and Mrs. Burdette Owen.
