Grains Sink on Board of Trade CHICAGO, April 13 -(JV With the exception of May wheat, grains sank on the board of trade today. Losses ran to about a cent in corn and in the new crop wheat deliveries. May wheat spurted nearly a cent on short covering and a little mill buying. It was influenced by strength in wheat at Minneapolis as well as the possibility there may not be much free wheat around for delivery on these con tracts by the end of May. Wheat closed 14 lower to 4 higher, corn was i to 1 cent low er, oats were hk-Vt lower, rye was ii lower, soybeans were un changed to V lower and lard was 8 cents krwer to 3 cents a hundred pounds higher.
