Held in Child Death State Boosts Vet Educational Aid A $15 increase in state educa tional benefits to Oregon World War II veterans attending full time courses in college and under graduate study will go into effect September I by virtue of an amend ment approved by the current leg islature and signed by the gover nor, the state veterans department announced Wednesday. W. F. Gaarenstroom. department director, explained that the in crease from $35 to $50 in monthly benefits should prove helpful to college veterans whose federal ben efits are expiring.
