A $15 increase in state educa
tional benefits to Oregon World

time courses in college and under
graduate study will go into effect
September I by virtue of an amend
ment approved by the current leg
islature and signed by the gover
nor, the state veterans department
announced Wednesday.

benefits should prove helpful to
college veterans whose federal ben
efits are expiring. The $35 state
aid will remain in force for all but
those taking fulltime undergrad
