Officials Wednesday said the peace - draft win not require as many draft boards - as were operating during World War II. No decision has been reached as to where selec tive service offices will be boosed. The parade started at this point and continued through all of. Four Corners to j display the new fire fighting equipment. After- delivery was made, the firemen drove the truck to Mill Creek on the Salem-Four Corners highway where they tested all of the pumping equipment and hoses. Heading the 'parade were. Fire Chief W. R. Gould and his assist ant, Capt Waldo Miller. Chief Gould announced that the new fire station, on Labranch avenue near the community hall, has been completed and will house the new engine. The new pumper is mounted on a lH-ton Ford truck,' has a 500 gallon storage tank for fires away from water outlets ana will oper ate 400 feet of high-pressure hose and 1,000 feet of 1',-inch hose.
