W. Praetorius, D D, of St. Paul, Minn., bishop of the Evangelical United Brethren northwest area. He will also speak at the 11 a.m. worship service. The church's 50 memberi and pastor, V. A. Zornes, moved the services from the schoolhouse to the new building on Easter Sun- i day. j The structure, for whicn ground was broken last August 13, has a I seating capacity of 200, a full ! basement with kitchen facilities and will have a second auditorium when completed. Its modern na ture is emphasized by its sound proof nursery with a loud speaker connection from the sanctuary. The church was begun in 1921, when August Weinert, Dave De Gross and Harry Boehm organized a community Sunday school. Two years later, E. G. Hornschuch, a retired Evangelical minister, moved into the community and added preaching services. Other Evangelical residents requested that the program become a mis sion of that church, and the Rev. H. R. Scheuerman was assigned this point as part of his circuit In 1929. The wife of the succeeding min ister, the Rev. G. F. Llenlng, Jr., added a Ladies' Aid society, and tho Rev. H. E. Bennett developed young people's work. Following pastors were the Rev. D. R. Kauf man in 1938 and the Rev. Gordon Jaffe in 1941, when hopes became definite plans for building. The young people, directed by Grace Klampe, began receiving pledges for a building fund. The work was continued by the Rev. Will lam Cooksley and, since 1945, by the Rev. Mr. Zornes, a Willamette university student. The church will be dedicated with only a small Indebtedness, according to officers. 1 ' H ' . r t -A ' ..' ' V ....,-.' . " j , tmm ii ' 1 Evangelical Bishop To Be Here Sunday Bishop E. W.
