OSC Slates Alums Reunion At Graduation OREGON STATE COLLEG Commencement week end events , this year, June 5, 6 and 7, will be gin Saturday w'ith what is expect ed to be the largest alumni re union In history and will end Monday with far the largest grad uation ever held here. Approxi mately l,17f degrees are to be conferred, some 300 more than the highest previous number. i Alumni registration will start Saturday, June 5, at 10:30 o'clock, j featuring the silver jubilee class of 1923 and the golden jubilee class of 1898. Mrs. Francis Benson Roe ser of Corvallis is heading the re union committee for the "war class" which entered college the fall of 1919. It set a new high re cord of 522 graduates when it fin ished. Dr. W. J. GUstrap, Portland, is heading the '98 class that had about 25 members in the gradua tion ceremonies. Reunion luncheons are sched uled at noon Saturday followed by a reception for alumni and faculty members at 4:30. Attorney General George Neuner held Thursday. Neuner said school boards de- siring to use public funds for this purpose should seek permission from the legislature, the only source for such authority. The opinion was requested by Rex Putnam, state superintendent of public instruction.
