Page's two sisters, Mrs. Roy Crowley of St. James, Minn, and Mrs. Thomas Stover of Bellview, Wash. Mrs. Crowley, who came west in November, has been in the north with the Stovers, She plans to remain in Salem at the Page home for a month. Mrs. Stover will return north after a several days visit here. To Fete Visitor Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Coburn Grabenhorst are, Mrs. T. C. Cornett and son, Billy, of Walla Walla. They were joined on Friday by Mrs. R. W. Wade of Portland, also a former Walla Walla resident. Monday night Mrs. Grabenhorst will entertain with an informal party for the pleasure of Mrs. Cor nett at her Mission street home. A late supper will be served af ter several hours of bridge. Salem Man Engaged Of interest to the benedict elect's many friends here is an nouncement of the engagement of Herbert Da Use, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Da Ike of Salem, to Miss Dorothy Alice Doane, daugh ter of Mrs. Clarence Eugene Doane and the late Rev. Doane, of Long Beach, Calif. No wed ding date has been set The news was told in the southern city Wednesday night at a gathering at the Doane home. Miss Doane attended Long Beach college and will graduate on February 14 from nurses training school at the Methodist hospital in Los Angeles. Her fiance attended Salem schools and Compton junior college. During the war he served In the navy and is now employed in Comp ton. Calif. The couple plan to make their home in Salem after their marriage and he will be en gaged in the contracting business with his father. Doris Dixon Will Wed in February Miss Doris Dixon will be a Feb ruary bride. News of her engage ment and forthcoming marriage to Donald E. Robins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Robins of Ore gon City, was revealed Tuesday night at a gathering of her bridge club at the home of Miss Miriam Shellenberger. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. C. Dixon. The ceremony will take place at the Calvary Baptist church on February 8 at S o'clock. Miss Dixon attended Salem schools and Oregon State college. Her fiance attended schools in Oregon City and Oregon State college. During the war he. served in the army medical corps. He Is now employed in Oregon City. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Glaisyer have returned from a three weeks trip to Dallas, Texas, where they spent the holidays with their son and family, Major and Mrs. Her bert Glaisyer, Jr. The travelers made the trip by train. At the Glaisyer home until they move to Eugene the first of February are their daughter, Mrs. Scott Hill and granddaughter Leanne, who have been living in Portland. Mr. Hill has been transferred by the Texas Co. to Eugene.
