The Bach Gesellschaft edition is published in 47 volumes, and a re production by photo-lithographic process of the original German edition published in 1851 to 1900. It forms a part of a project undertaken at the instigation of the National Associations of Schools of Music of which Willamette is a member. Much 'of the contents have not heretofore been accessible, or were found only in European libraries. Included are the "Eli Eli," "Hospodi Pomilui," "Deep River" and "Lord's Prayer" which so moved the audience here in the infantry chorus' concert last month. Though it is not now in the shops, it would be an excel lent album to watch for. Camp Fire Corner The Ela Tanda Wapi Camp Fir group took Christmas gifts to a needy family Thursday and then went to the home of Mrs. Jasper Button, for a Christmas party. The Soenki Blue Birds brought and wrapped 24 gifts for the Yak ima Indian Christian Mission when they met at the home of Mrs. .Charles Lambert Tuesday. The Little Maiden Blue Birds sang songs and practiced a Christ mas play Tuesday, when they met at the home of Mrs. Hal DeSart Invitations were written to the mothers for their Christmas party. The -Busy Bee Blue Birds met at the home of Mrs. Darwin Bi wer, Wednesday and made can dies for table favors. Dlanna Me Clellan treated them. The Oklyasin Camp Fir, group held thuir meeting in the music room at Englewood school. Honor beads were awarded. Following this Christmas gifts were exchan ged. At the meeting of the Cozy Cot tage Blue Birds with Mrs. C. I Brown, the girls made jumping jacks and animated horses to be sent to, the Shriners hospital, as their service project for Christ mas. Each girl also made a hand kerchief holder for an exchange of Christmas gifts. The Tawa Kami Camp Fire group met at the home of Mrs. James Buchanan, Thursday. A fashion show with the Wik io Camp Fir girls as models was given for the teachers, mothers and girls' of the Salem Heights school, December 12. Santa Claus table favors for the Methodist's Old People's Homo were made by the Tawast Camp Fir group when they met with Mrs. Esther Cavender December 13 for a dinner given by the lead er and sponsors. A Christmas party iwas given by the Little Chatterboxes Blue Bird group of the Washington school and the mothers were in vited. Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Wir repgaksslsted Mrs. Everett Woods. The nappy Blue Birds and Cherrian Blue Birds, with their leaders Mrs. M. W. Ready and Mrs. Clif Robinson, were enter tained by Mrs. Floyd Seamster with a Christmas party. The mo thers were presented their gifts which the girls made. A Christmas council fire was held by the Tami Cheemibi Camp Fire group when they met with Mrs. Dayl Burres, Thursday, De cember 18.
