All grains were ' easy at the start of today's session, but corn developed sorry strength on com mission, house buying and light country offerings. At the close wheat was 214 to I ',4 cents higher than the previ ous finish, December $3.104-3.11. Corn was 1 to 2,,4 higher, De cember $2.584-2.59. Oats were 1 cent to 1 higher, December $1.2614. Reinvestment ; demand still was a factor in Offsetting waning tax offerings, j Declines of fractions to a point or so predominated at-the close. Volume dwindled to 1,080,000 shares from 1,430,000 of Monday. The Associated Press 60-stock composite was off .2 of a point at 64.3, its first dip since the sharp relapse of Dec. 5.
