Johnson, who have been on an extended trip in the mi S west and south, re turned Wednesday; Buena Vista school will five its Christinas progvem at the Com munity hall Friday, December IV. The Sunday school will have spe cial Christmas exercises Sunday morning, December 21. A general invitation to attend both these ex ercises has been extended. Court Refuses Hearing in Accident Case The state supreme court Tues day refused rehearing) of the case of Geraldine L. Snyder against the Portland Traction company and Raymond Pfieffer, in which she received a Judgment for $6,500 for personal injuries in the Mult nomah county circuit court. Plaintiff was a passenger on a Portland Traction company bus which collided with an automo bile driven by Pfieffer. The su preme court previously affirmed the lower court decree. CITY MANAGER SOUGHT PORTLAND, Dee. lS-CJ-The American Veterans committee said here today it would circu late petitions for a city manager form of government for Portland the proposal to be placed on the ballot at the next dry election.
