Bullish Forces Raises Stocks In Fast Day NEW YORK, Oct. 20-(P)-The bulls moved on the stock market In force today and, despite consid erable selling opposition, pushed up selected steels, oils, motors, rails and special issues 1 to 3 or more points on the sixth straight full session of better than a mil lion shares. Rising prices ruled from the tart with activity pronounced ex cept at intervals. Sizable blocks aided volume. Liquidation was a bit more insistent in the final hour and extreme advances were reduced in the majority of cases, with a smattering of pivotals on the losing end at the close. The day's aggregate of 1,770,000 shares compared with 1,270,000 Friday and was a top since last Wednes day which, in turn, was the larg est since April 14. Buying again was based mainly on business optimism and the be lief big-scale dollar relief for Eu rope would drop many industries at home. Results of the French elections cheered the financial sector. Dividends and earnings, for the most part, were stimulated but exceptions developed here. Professionals chased profits here and there on the idea a technical correction may be in the offing. The Associated Press 60-stpck composite was up .0 of a point at -7.8. . Portland Market's Wheat Prices Rise PORTLAND, Oct 20-OVPort-land wheat prices advanced with others across, the country today with hard white Baart up 2 cents to a record $3.11 a bushel for 12 per cent protein grain.
