The businessmen indicate that a ca pacity crowd of between 1500 and 2000 may turn out. The game was set back from the originally an nounced Thursday night date be cause of a "March of Dimes'' dance here that night. The Willamette Valley league high school basketball jamboree last month drew almost 2000 fans, it has been pointed out. B.C. Vet, go to the armory main event post again tonight to top Match maker Tex Salkeld's 28-round VFW and "March of Dimes" card. And this time the two shoot for one of the leading roles in a north west featherweight championship 15-rounder with Snooks Lacey here two weeks from tonight. Ar ticles already have been signed for that match. Tonight's rematch, a 10-rounder which will find either battler for feiting $100 if he doesn't enter the ring weighing 126' pounds or less, is expected to be a punch filled meeting from start to finish. Whipped by the former Canadian bantam champ last time, the Port land swinger and his manager Larry Caputo, who aren't accus tomed to losing fights in Salem, last night announced the blonde side of the twosome is In tip-top shape, much better than the con dition he was in for the last fight. And when the usually tireless Hoag is in top fettle his best de fense is a torrid offense. As for Roberts, he -proved in a six-rounder on a Portland show last week that he is ready to re peat his win over Hoag. Roberts looked sharp in his Portland ap pearance, an outing which Hoag was present to see and which had the durable little Dane doubling his road work the next morning. Roberts is much the better boxer than the slugger - typed Hoag, which makes for a sizeable scrap. A healthy slice of the gate re ceipts tonight and advance ticket sales indicate a large crowd will be turned over to the county's "March of Dimes" polio drive by both Salkeld and the VFW. The four prelims are topped by a six-rounder featuring Salem's Dick Abney and Portland's Sunny Jackson in a rematch after their four-round draw three weeks ago. The three four-rounders tonight: Chuck (Kid) Brown, Salem, vs. Bill Slater, Portland, lightweights; Davey Arndt, Portland, vs. Bat tling Ted Demeio, Portland, and Kelly (Deacon) Jackson, Port land, vs. Ray Garcia.
