Crawford today from continuing Its purchase pro gram to buy the California-Electric Utilities company. The judge held that the trans action, to have been consummated Aug. 15. was illegal, aiul that none of a $923,000 bond issue voted in 1942 could be ued for the purpose. Gui Solnroon, Port land, attorney for the PUD, mean while, aaid the ca.te would he appealed to the supreme court.
