Miss McAdams was also made custodian of club nroDettr. Committee chairmen reporting were Miss Ef fie Smith on the recent meeting of her . commit tee, at which the theme was in- for. greeting and making new members feel at home. . Mrs. Carmalite Weddle, pro gram chairman, reported that her committee had adopted the theme, "Our World to Build," as suggested by the National Fed eration of Business and Profes sional Women's clubs, for the local club's theme , , Mrs. Jessie Bush - Mickelson. music chairman, called for sug gestions from the board as to the type and amount of music de sired for the year. More group singing and the reorganization of the chorus are the two requests of the board. Mrs. Mickelson an nounced that her committee would meet with her at her home on Monday night for the purpose of working out the de tails. Miss Ida Smith, as a member of last year's legislative commit tee, reported that in response to her telegram to Sen. Wayne Morse telling him that the club expected him to support the United Nations charter, he as sured her that the charter had his full support. Cucumber tomato salad Italian spaghetti Zucchini squash Cottage pudding Lemon sauce QUICK ITALIAN SPAGHETTI WITH SALAMI pound salami Lrd or drippings for browning 1 cip onions, chopped 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced : ' 1 tablespoon flour 1 etips tomato Juice 1 clip water m teaspoons Worcestershire sauce teaspoon salt : teaspoon pepper 2. tablespoons parsley, minced i Va- green pepper, chopped 6-8 dunces uncooked spaghetti Cut half the salami into very thin slices and grind or chop the remainder. Brown onions and mushrooms lightly in lard or drippings; blend in flour, and add chopped . salami. Add to mato; juice, diluted, with water, and seasonings: Simmer 25 min ites. Add parsley and green pep per and simmer five minutes more.
