Dorothy Berning Is Married MT. ANGEL Miss Dorothy M. Berning, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Berning, and Mr. George A. Bernards, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bernards' of St Paul, plighted their troth at a beautiful wedding at St. Mary's Catholic .church at 9:30 ajn. Tuesday. Rev Albert Bauman, O.S.B., cousin of the bride, of ficiated t the nuptial high mass and received the vows. St. Mary's choir sang the mass and the Ave Maria at the' offertory and Ber nard Smith sang "Mary, At Thy Feet rm Kneeling" before the services. I Miss Helen : Keber played the-ttrgan. The bride, given in marriage by her lather, was lovely in her , gown fashioned with satin waist with lace yoke and skirt of mar quisette over net that terminated in a long train. She more a fingertip tulle veil and a crown of orange blossoms and carried a white prayerbook with white or chids and satin streamers. The bridesmaid, Miss Dorothy Bernards, sister of the brider groom, and the maid of honor, .Miss Bernice Berning. sister of. the bride, wore identical floor length dresses of white net with short puff sleeves and brief veils. They carried nosegays of carnations and sweetpeas. Mr. Clarence Bernards was best man for his brother and Mr. Donald Davidson and Mrs. Robert Bernards served as ush ers. The bride's mother wore a two-piece navy blue and white dress and Mrs. Bernards also chose navy. Each wore a cor sage of gardenias and pink rose buds. Immediately after the cere mony, breakfast for the bridal party was served at the home of the bride's brother, Mr. and Mrs. Talwin Berning at Moni tor. The wedding dinner for sixty five guests was held at the Mt Angel hotel. The bride's table was centered with a three-tiered wedding cake, flanked on either side by lighted tapers and bou quets of roses. Assisting at the tables were Miss Myra Kaiser, .Miss Annella Bauman and Miss Cecelia Zollner, all cousins of the bride. Father Albert was toastmas ter and Miss Bauman and Miss Zollner sang "The Sweetest Story Ever Told" and "Always," accompanied by Miss Helen Keber at the piano. A . reception was held at the country home of the bride's par ents during the afternoon. As sisting about the rooms were Miss Frances Hassing, Miss Jeanne Ertelt and Miss Margaret Traeger. A wedding dance followed in the evening, held at the St Paul hall. i Mr. and Mrs. Bernard will go ; to Vancouver, B.C., on their wed ding trip. For going away the bride chose a brown pin stripe suit with blue accessories and white orchid corsage. They will make their home in St. Paul. Mr. and Mrs. Nerval Edwards , and son.
