Grains Rally On Showings Of Shortages CHICAGO.. June 27.-PV-firain markets made an uncertain begin ning today but rallied sharply dur ing the final hour when rtinrinv by cash handlers and flour millers disclosed shortage of offerings. . The late upturn met little oppo sition and wheat prices advanced as much as 114 cents- a bushel at one time. The trade, dull dur ing we j early hours, became ac tive shortly before the close. Commercial operations in wheat reached important proportions. Hedging accounted for slight loss es at the start but was more than offset by mill buying later in the day. Affecting the lafe trade in wheat was the strength of the Minnea polis and Kansas City markets where prices indicated millers were lifting hedges following flour sales to the army. At the finish wheat was V to Hs higher than yesterday's close, July $1.66-. Corn was un changed to up December $1.16 M. Oats were to higher, July 66,4. Rye was up 1 to l,i, July $1.5318-1.54.
