Decision Due On Klamath Navy Center 1"J Two Salem Marines Come Home Members of the Oregon congres- s tonal delegation said-tonight they expect an early decision on a pro posal to establish a naval rehabili tation center- at Klamath Falls, Ore Referring to the site plans, Rep. Stockman (R-Ore) said the argu ment is "hot." "There are two oth er placed besides Klamath Falls under consideration," he reported, An aide to Senator Cordon (R Ore) said the proposal has been under almost continuous discus sion for' some time The center would be of tempo rary construction, for treatment of servicemen with malaria and filar iasis, similar to the marine hospi tal now in Klamath Falls. New Berry Ceiling Will Equalize Prices PORTLAND, April 20 A regional OPA official told farm ers today a new price ceiling on berries would equalize producer prices and hinted ration points might be removed from mutton during the lambing season. Verne Livesay, OPA agriculture relations advisor, said complaints of Washington-Oregon berry growers were . recognized la the new price ceiling, to be announced before the harvest Two Salem marines recently re turned from the Pacific. J. Stone of the Marion county health department' in charge. Forty-four school children were examined, 101 diphtheria immunizations giv en, 65 smallpox vaccinations made, 34 TB tests given and eight im munizations against whooping cough given.
