Gilstrap has returned from a trip to visit her daughters in Newberg to see Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Fowler and j children, Bruce and Margaret, later to Nash ville, Tenn., to visit Mr. and Mrs. William Blakemore and son Wil liam. She had not seen this grand son before. Her travels then led to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles ; Leicht and Gwendolyn Lee at Lindsey. Okla., then her daughter, Mrs. Roy Downing at Hanford, 'Calif. She then returned to the Turner Memorial Home where she is mat ron. ' ; The Turner Sunshine club met with Mrs. Edith Mellis for an all day meeting and no host dinner last week. Red Hills Grange Men Cook and Serve Dinner LIBERTY -The men of the Red Hills grange! demonstrated their prowess at the grange ; meeting this week. The opening exercises were led by -Alvera Purcell and Deloris Werner. A quiz program was giv ! en with Richard Hoffman acting! as master of ceremonies and the; members of the three grades as studio audience and contestants. Music for the program was an accordion solo by Joan Stark and group singing. Visitors were Mrsi Herbert Zobel, Mrs. Carl Hoffman and Mrs. Wilson Biles. Following the program hour $he Easter story was presented by Miss Pearl Martin, teacher for the Biblej study hour. . Lloyd Nelson, a seventh grade! pupil whose birthday was Friday was surprised when he was pre-l sented with two birthday cakes! sent him by his grandmother, MrsJ Ernst Real.
