C Harrison will officiate before the fireplace which will be banked with baskets of pink . and white gladioluses and asters. Miss Dormalee Bunn' of Rose burg win King "Because" and "At Dawning" and Mrs. Donald Cal lahan .will play tha accompani ments and wedding march. '- The bride, who will be given in marriage by Mr. B. W. Bunn. has chosen a pink silk afternoon dress for her wedding. The bo dice is fashioned with a low neck line edged in ruffling and short sleeves. The pockets on the skirt are enhanced with ruffling. Her accessories are black and her black straw hat is trimmed in veiling. She will carry a bou quet of white spray orchids and bouvardia. Miss Marion Jackson, the hon or attendant will wear a navy blue and white dress. Her cor sage will be of pink roses and white bouvardia. Mr. Eton Ro- gers will stand with the groom as best man. For her daughter's marriage Mrs. Edwards has selected a green silk dress with brown ac cessories. Her flowers will be gardenias. The wedding reception will be held at the home of the bride groom's brother-in-law and sis ter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Yung. Mrs. William Wood, the groom's aunt, will preside at the coffee urn and Mrs. Roy Yung will Cut - the bride's cake. Assisting will be Mrs. Dana Stoddard, Miss Ra mona Huddleston and Mrs. John Dickinson of Independence. After a wedding trip the cot pie will return to Salem for ? while, later leaving for Newport, Rhode Island, where he will re port for duty. Mr. Dickinson, who is in the submarine ser vice, has been in the south Pa cific for twenty months. He is home on a thirty day leave. The bride, who attended Salem high school, has been working in Port- land. Mr. Dickinson went to : school in Independence and lat- ; er attended Oregon State col- lege. Mr. and Mrs. Gearge R. K. Moorhead and sons, Bruce and Van, are leaving today for a week's vacation at their summer home at Road's End. ' Mrs. Ethel Reed of Mirshfield visited in Salem Friday with her mother, Mrs. Mary Calef. ' Past Neble Grand will meet with their husbands for a picnic at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Adams, Glen Creek road, at 6:30 o'clock on Tuesday.
