Police Active Oregon state po lice in November arrested 1448 persons and warned 3364 others for violations of the state motor vehicle traffic laws. Rogers Up For Bank Post "Quit your shoving" reputedly was the attitude of members of the state banking board Wednes day when they failed to hold the meeting understood to have been scheduled, for the purpose of ap pointing a state superintendent of banks. Though no member of the board would comment for publication, it was understood that one or more of the members objected to what was considered newspaper "rush ing" tactics. There was no Indication that any candidate other than A. A. Rogers, Incumbent, was up for consideration. Rogers has contin ued to serve since expiration of his original term December 1.
