Salem Held Best For Home Making Because people he has met In 72,000 miles travel in every state but two during the past two years declared Salem is one of the finest little home cities in the entire United States, Frank Durkhoff, retired J. C. Penney store man ager from Michigan, has arrived in Salem with Mrs. Durkhoff and their two daughters and intends to make their future home here. Durkhoff has spent the past two winters in California and had visited Salem briefly two years ago.
