First of the affairs Is the spring program given by Barbara Barnes and the Willamette Songmen, which is scheduled for Wednes day, March 31. The danee number 'Dynamic Rhythms," which cre ated interest last spring, will be repeated by request. A program of Interesting selections has been promised by Cameron Marshall, director of the Songmen. ' un uonaay. April 6. t&e Salem philharmonic orchestra will giro the third of a series of concerts, featuring the music of the orch estra, and Mrs. Bruce Spaalding. contralto. Jacques Cershkovitch will direct the young artists in this concert. Mrs. Spaulding will sing arias from Samson and Delilah, and from Carmen. Her appearance as guest soloist, and the excellent program promised by the orch estra, should make this the beat attended concert of the associa tion's season.- The MaeDowell club's concert, following again close on the heels of the philharmonic orchestra's, will be In quite a different theme.- Besides seTeral spring numbers to : be presented by the group of fifty .women's rolcee, under the direc tion of Miss Lena Belle Tartar.
