During the last week the Hollywood store has undergone remodeling and expansion to make the equal of the other two Safe way stores In Salem. A new Safeway meat market is a major addition to the Hollywood store. It Is equipped with an ad vanced type of refrigeration sys tem and meat display cases that makes tor added efficiency. Berkey aid all remodeling was done by Salem workmen. Perry Bressler's Birthday Honored LYONS, Feb. 20. Quite a crowd of relatives of Perry Bress ler, went to Stayton Sunday to help him eelebrate his 87th birth day at the George Davy , home, Mrs. Cora Davy being; Bresslers youngest daughter. Among those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Br easier. Newton Allen, Elmer Hi att, Leland Manning, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Allen and Little Phyllis Wor den, all of Lyons; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hester of Salem and the George Davy family. Although it was snowing here and quite cold when be left, be reports that when he reached Roseburg, the sun was shining and that the tem perature there had not been down to the freezing point. A group of West Salem young people are working on a three-act comedy, 'Where's Grandma.' and expect to'present the play within a month.
