Father Keenan Feted Friday Night Several hundred church mem bers and friends called at the St. Vincent's parish hall Friday night at the farewell reception tend ered Father Thomas V. Keenan before - his departure for Port land. Father Keenan was presented with a beautiful green vestment trimmed with gold. As it was his-birthday, the serving table day cake guarded by pink candles. David O'Hara was toastmaster and brief talks were made by the honor guest and C. P. Bishop, Dr. P. O. Riley, Father T. J. Bernard and Flavius Meier. Opedal have received announce ment of the marriage of their youngest son, Lawrence, to Miss Romilda Pingitore of New York - city. Gladioli, fern and tall lighted tapers made a backgrounds for the ceremony which was performed by Rev. J. IX Ellis, father of the groom. Miss Barbara Barham played the wedding marches and Mrs. Walter Johnson of CorvalHs sang "I Love You Truly" and "At Dawning." The bride was gowned in egg shell taffeta fashioned with a cowl neck and full sleeves of net She carried red roses. Her sis ter, Miss Mary Lois Drrggs, was maid of honor and wore a pink organdie froek with a fitted jack- et, high neck and long sleeves. Her bouquet was of pink ' and white sweet peas.' - Donald Ellis attended his bro ther and ushers were John Ellis, Paul Ellis and Don Driggs. Reception at Church A reception followed in the church parlors. The serving ta ble was covered with a handsome linen cloth and centered with the wedding cake guarded by white candles in crystal holders. Assisting at the reception were Mrs. William Heseman, Mrs, John Ellis, Miss Francis Graham, Miss Beulah Graham and Miss Isabella Leeper.
