Melt butter and add flour and seasonings. Add milk and cook slowly until thick sauce forms. Stir constantly. Add tuna.. Stuff tomatoes. Arrange in shal low pan. Add inch water and bake 85 minutes in moderate oven. Cheese Biscuits 1 cups flour 3 teaspoons baking powder M teaspoon salt 1- 3 cup grated cheese St ablespoons lard 4 cup milk Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add cheese ai d lard, cut ting In with knife. Mixing with knife, slowly add milk. When soft dough forms, pat out until Inch thick. Cut out biscuits and arrange side by side on greased shallw pan. Bake 10 minutes in moderate oven. Sour Cream Date Cookica (Good For Lunch Boxes) 2- 3 cup fat 1 cups sugar 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1 teaspoon cloves 4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 eggs Vt cup sour cream 2-3 cup chopped dates cup broken nuts Vi cups flour 1 teaspoon soda Cream fat and sugar. Add spic es, salt, vanilla, eggs and cream. Beat well. Van Win kle held that it was unlawful to take clams from a slough for com mercial purposes, even though the slough runs through the property which the person taking the clams owns and on which he pays taxes.
