A minimum wage for women of $11 a week or $2.50 a day was agreed upon, with a maximum work week ot 48 hours of 8 hours a day. Corson. 39. district equipment superintendent of the Pacific Telephone &.. Telegraph company here, died at his home here today. Heart trouble was said to hare been the cause - of his death. - -. . Corson had been employed by th telephone company for 23 rears. He was wire chief at Salem from June-e923 until 1928 when he was madef district plant chief, with headquarters in that city. In May, 1930 he came to th Port land office.- His widow and two children survive.
