MacDowell Chorus Plans New Course The activities of the MacDowell club chorus will be resumed next Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock in the music room of the Salem high school. The director of the chorus. Lena Belle Tartar, will present work In music apprecia tion as a means of stimulating musical interpretation and under standing. A program of pleasing numbers included a piano duet by Miss Lu ella Rees and Mrs. Lyle Thomas, readings by Mrs. Avery L. Ap plewhite, a declamation by Mrs. Jed A. Austin, literary games by Mrs. Frank Forrester, clever pen cil games prepared by Mrs. Miller and a vocal solo by Mrs. Nicholas Brinkley. The club members decided to continue the serving ot a hot dish at school, lunch for another month.
