Whiteness Relieves
Scarlet From Trees
AURORA. Jan. 20. Nature Is
kind to her feathered tribe. This
year the holly trees bore an abun
dance of berries, and where Wed
nesday the scarlet note relieved
the bleakness of winter landscape,
Thursday 'twas only the green
which peeped through the white
earth's covering. The sweet notes
of the birds are heard as they
flutter around the strirred houy
tree In great numbers.
