He is called the sweetest singer of songs, and comes direct to Salem after completing long engagements at the Metropolitan theater in Ios Angeles and the Broadway theater in Portland. Mr. Magill is a native ot Ore gon, having made his home in Portland for a number of years. During his recent 'engagement at the Broadway theater, the Port land Oregonian had thefollowing to say: "Shower praise on Eddie Magill at the Broadway theater. Magill is a Portland bov who won east ern audiences with his lyric voice and returned to the home town where in four weeks at the Broad way he has been received with open arms." Magill has worked with such well known leaders as Paul Ash Ben Black, Eddie Peabody. Rube Woir and Gene Morgan, in addi tion to being a Columbia Record ing Artist, his latest release, ';MId-night Moonlight," with the Frank Ellis St. Francisco utci Orchestra.
