Dietz, Proctor and McFarlane, scored a one-eided victory over the Grotto in a Commercial league game last night 11 to 1. Grotto got its lone count in the fourth inning when Moon made a nice two-base hit and Paulsen knocked him home with a crack to center field. Tilden's sec ond successive downfall, and on consecutive days. Following on his defeat in the singles, yesterday.- by Henri Cochet. of France, Tilden, paired with Mrs. Molla Mallory; Ameri can woman champion, was elimi nated today from the mixed doubles of the Wimbledon tennis tocrnament. The American team lost to Baron von Kehrling, of Hungary. and Miss Eileen.-Bennett, of Eng land, 3-6. 6-J, 6-4. Tilden's progress today was sim ilar to that of yesterday. In the opening set he played a power ful game. Hi service was fast, his footwork was speedy, and his recoveries of-some of Kehrling'a deep drives were amazing.
