On nest Friday evening. De cember XS, at X:30 the Salem Boys; Chorus will give .its first covert of the season at the First Methodist church. The program will be mainly In the nature of Christmas . choruses, and will in cjude uartettes, duets, and instru mental, selections, as well aa a reading by one- of the boys. The boys chorus is about four years old now, and, has been very successfully- conducted ' by Dr. Epley, The concerts staged In class ,ajid iiave been well received by j the public, . .Heretofore there has been- a- charge made for the concerts, bu.t Jt; is . the purpose now to open all concerts, in the future to the public without charge and receive an offering to defray expenses. - Dr. Epley and a number of others are very enthusiastic about commutiity singing, and in con 11 set ion with this concert a num ber of songs will be sung by the entire audience.
