The many friends and neigh bors of W. G. Walling are sorry to learn of the death of his moth er, Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Wal ling, who, with her husband, G. A. Walling, has been "making her home with him for some time. At the time of her death she was visiting her son, Ray Walling of North Summer street, Salem, where she was taken suddenly ill. though she had been in very poor .health for the past year or so.
